July has been such a busy month I feel like I have been packing and unpacking all month busy...busy...but I would not want to give any of it up........
Lake Powell has been such a big part of my life. I remember going to Lake Powell when I was young..... sleeping out under the stars on the rocks, swimming and having dad call out..... "watch out there's a shark", learning to slalom on the big blue skis and learning to take off from shore, driving the lake always being watchful for floating logs. Tradition stands today with taking our own little family to Powell each year to enjoy the amazing scenery and sharing with them the Lake Powell both Mark and I learned to love. I think our kids are all hooked!!
It was Jake's birthday this year while we were down there ~July 17th~......Nate and Nicole went to a lot of effort to make it a fun trip for the him and somehow the adults enjoyed it just as much. A slide out of visqueen....add a little soap and away you go!! Funny thing... little Sam loved it so much...he would slide down on his tummy always begging for more.
Nicole out did herself. The lucky Birthday Boy indulged on Crepes for breakfast.....and for dinner barbeque Samon! YUMMY!!

Onto the 24th....Kamas Fiesta Days
Kamas is so much fun during July...rodeos, parades, carnivals, dutch oven breakfasts, kids games, demolition derby etc. We always intend on participating in all the festivities and most of the time find ourselves having to much fun at the cabin to leave and go down into the city. I found myself a little lackadaisical about taking pics this time.....You can be guaranteed that there will always be a horse ride somewhere in the mix of events taking place.

Cute little Pregnant Sara......5 months and counting.......Look hard and you will see a little bump starting to appear :) Love it!!
Everyone be sure and tell Katie how cute they think this boy is.......but don't get to excited yet......dating is in its infancy

Setting up for the Big Screen Movie night out on the lawn....ahhhh so much fun! We all bring out blankets and lots of pillows for a comfy movie night under the stars:)

haha...aren't you funny Lou!! Where do I even begin?! I thought one little picture with a "stranger" in the background may appear but I think there were several! So much for living my "secret life" in my own house! ha ha! Cutest Lake Powell pics, makes me ready for round 2...the question of the day is: will that TOAD still be there to kiss?!! Honestly! You guys do the funnest things! That Lake Powell trip looks like so much fun with the waterslide. Crepes on the beach? Oh wow! I'm impressed. Looks like you were at the same great place. Hope to hook up with you in September!
